About Me

My name is Grant and I’m in my mid-20s, working and living in Chicago. I work full-time at a law firm, go to night school twice a week for an MPA degree, and own a retired racing greyhound, so as you can tell, I am a very busy person. I hope to show people that having a busy schedule is not an excuse for seeing the world through this blog. I fell in love with traveling when I went to Washington, D.C. when I was about 14. I planned minute-by-minute things to do so I wouldn’t miss a single thing in our nation’s capital (I love government, so it was a big deal to go there). Exhausted after a few days of sightseeing, I went home with the biggest smiles and the best memories. I was hooked after that. During college, I spent two separate four month semesters in Torino, Italy where I traveled to several countries (which I will write about to the best of my ability throughout this blog). After that period, I took a break from major traveling for a few years, but I’m back and ready to travel the world in my 20s! I hope you enjoy my posts and please subscribe and write comments if you have questions, suggestions, or if you just enjoy the posts!
